Keen interest expected to greet new Quattro homesites
Perth homebuyers looking to build their new home in an established suburb close to the city will have their chance when new homesites are released at Quattro: The New Queens Park.
A total of 14 lots in Stage 2D will be released by public ballot at 9.30am on Saturday, 6 March, 2010. The ballot will be held at the Quattro Sustainable Home and Sales Centre, located at 325 Wharf Street, Queens Park.
The lots range in size from 436sqm to 474sqm and are priced between $245,000 and $252,500.
Located on Reginald Street, the14 homesites are well-located close to Quattro’s newly completed central parkland which features a beautifully-landscaped meeting point for residents and locals alike.
The new park joins up with Munja Park, creating a great walking route for those living in and around the area.
To be eligible to participate in the ballot, prospective purchasers must provide a $1,000 Registration of Interest Holding Deposit and submit a completed Registration Form in person to the Quattro Sales Centre. The registration period will open at 1pm on Saturday, 13 February 2010 and will close at 5pm on Wednesday, 3 March 2010.
All ballot documents, including the Registration Form and Terms and Conditions, are available from the Quattro Sales Centre or for download from our website.
Peet Limited Managing Director and CEO Brendan Gore said previous land releases at Quattro: The New Queens Park have been well received by a variety of homebuyers.
“Since the first homesites at Quattro were released in 2008, Perth homebuyers have been quick to respond to new land becoming available at this sought-after location,” Mr Gore said.
“We expect this demand to continue as homebuyers seize the rare opportunity to buy new land in an established suburb of Queens Park.”
Just 11 kilometres from Perth's CBD, Quattro is an innovative urban renewal project developed in partnership between the Department of Housing and Peet Limited.
Department of Housing Director General Grahame Searle said Quattro is helping to breathe new life into the Queens Park community.
“The Department is very pleased with the Quattro project which has helped rejuvenate the local area and we look forward to welcoming the community’s first residents over the coming months,” Mr Searle said.
As an established area, Quattro: The New Queens Park provides easy access to shopping and transport facilities. Carousel Shopping Centre is just a short distance away and there are a number of public and private schools as well as transport links including a bus service and the nearby Queens Park train station.
An added attraction for buyers at Quattro is the Flying Start package, which has been designed to make it easier and more affordable to build your own home. The package includes side and rear Colorbond fencing, waterwise front garden landscaping and reticulation, and a rainwater harvesting system.
