Quattro’s second ballot a big hit with buyers

Homesites at Quattro: The New Queens Park are proving a hit with new homebuyers with all available homesites snapped up during the community’s second public ballot.

A total of 14 lots in Stage 2D, ranging in size from 436sqm to 474sqm and priced between $245,000 and $252,500, were sold by public ballot on Saturday 6 March 2010.

Peet Limited Managing Director and CEO Brendan Gore said the response was tremendous and he was pleased to welcome the successful buyers to the Quattro community. “The Quattro urban renewal project presents a very rare opportunity for Perth homebuyers to acquire land in an established suburb so close to the city, so it’s not surprising that demand remains strong,” Mr Gore said.

Department of Housing Director General Grahame Searle said Quattro is helping to breathe new life into the Queens Park community. “The Department is very pleased with the Quattro project which has helped rejuvenate the local area and we look forward to welcoming more residents to this growing community,” Mr Searle said. Additional homesites will be released at Quattro: The New Queens Park in summer 2011.
